June is, by far, one of the most exciting months of the year for men in the fashion industry: it’s packed with high-flown fashion shows attended by A-listers, and these guys supposedly know what is big and worthy. The British capital shone its most exuberant fashion light and allowed us to peep at the bold fashion trends that are going to dominate the SS’16 season.
The London collections were two weeks of truthful fashion reference. Here is a trend alert list with 5 of the strongest trends for the next spring and summer
1. Modern Stripes
Will stripes ever go out of style? Well, the fashion designer Xander Zhou and Topman Design made sure the well-known pattern will be here for at least another spring and summer season. Among other designers such as Agi & Sam, Zhou explored a coordinated version of stripes inspired by his yin and yang collections.
The former military Belstaff lead the way through the explosion of this trend. He has everything to hit the market. Christopher Raeburn and Maharishi nod in agreement.
The Nude Color
Transparency and sophistication are the key to getting most out of this trend. Burberry, J.W Anderson and Lou Dalton explored Nude in different ways and now plan to make it the new go-to color. Nobody minds.
The bright colors won’t go out of fashion, whew! Designers Craig Green, Richard James, and Astrid Andersen manifested their love for bright, merry colors. Thank you, people.
Huge Prints Proportions
Last but not least, London was the spotlight for big prints. Katie Eary, James Long, and Coach delivered bold prints that are not minimalist by any means.
The London collection brought the fashion world together and left behind trends that are powerful and eloquent. Spring and Summer 2016 promise to be more fashionable than ever.
